How many people with credit card debt up to their ears still blame Bush for the recession?

July 27th, 2009
You’re Kidding… Right? asked:

Not saying Bush had zero effect.

I’m saying irresponsibility of the masses had the greatest effect.
Bush’s deregulation? That’s laughable! Try Carter and Clinton. Their deregulation of the mortgage and banking industry are unmatched.
My point is that no one was forced to rack up credit card debts. No one was given a sub prime mortgage at gunpoint. PEOPLE MADE STUPID CHOICES AND NOW EVERYONE WILL PAY.
Justagrandma obviously thinks the average person is too stupid to make decisions for themselves. A socialist or communist government is perfect for people like you. You’ll never have to think for yourself again. No wonder you voted Obama.
Vonnybon: That sounds like a hard lesson learned. Fortunately my parents taught me to save for a rainy day. I learned credit cards were evil on my own. Well maybe not evil, but easy to misuse.

Is the forever stamp just another way to run up America’s credit card debt?

January 14th, 2009
hacker_67_39_177_230 asked:

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

The math is that Bush sells the forever stamps today, takes that money and gives it to his oil corp buddies as tax breaks, walks away from office and leaves “others” to deal with the cost of mailing envelopes when that money has long since been stolen.

Is this what Bushies applaud? Everything that’s bad for America?
